Requirements:

XP with SP2 and dot net 3.5

Run/Install Mercury DSI installation on system (requires restart)

Mercury.exe  8/31/2011 or better includes gift cards
MercuryCloseBatch.cmd 5/16/2011 or better
MercuryXMLSetStat.exe 7/7/2011 or better
WStatus.exe 5/17/2011 or better

Interop.DSICLIENTXLib.dll

VCRetail4.exe 8/29/2011 or better includes gift cards
Note although not part of Mercury a file TscLib.dll must be present for Vcretail4 to load. 
SNC_FS.exe 5/2/2011 or better
SNC_CR.exe 5/6/2011 or better

copy all the above files to the c:\pos folder.

rename deposit.bat to deposit.bak

Copy or rename MercuryCloseBatch.cmd to Deposit.bat.


YY.bat needs to be altered. 
Near the end of file is wstatus. 
Add to this a space and "-MERC" with out the quotations.

Example: WStatus -MERC

Also change the desktop or OneClick shortcut for Closing Status.
 

POS System settings terminal settings:
from a terminal...
logon as a manager
Select options #1
Select Edit Terminal records
Select desired terminal
look for Mercury payment systems primary CC authorization and set to yes.
accept change.

Do this for each terminal.


POS System Config:
Use CRConfig to configure Mercury as payment system.

Credit Authorizeation Service:
Mercury

Configure Service:


Sierra Memo:
SIERRA ARGUS 2000 1.1

MerchantID:
Enter merchant ID as provided

Server IP:
Enter IP or domains as provided ( use single line method )

Cards/Services Supported:
Select card types and services


Authorizations:
Internet: checked

Configure File Server Connections as required.

save your changes.

Use sncfdn2 or terminal to ...
Check PLU 92101 Dept code is not 9999

for gift cards 
on a terminal
logon as a manager
select Options#1
Select "Edit Terminal Records" 
Select terminal that will be processing gift cards.
Locate the "Enable Gift Cards for Mercury" 
Change it to "Yes".

Repeat for each terminal that will be using Mercury Gift Cards.
