Paymentech netconnect installation instructions and test parameters

1.) Run the paymentech_SDK_CPP_NetConnect_v3.2.exe installation
  a. select only the core installation.

2.) Windows 2000 and XP
The installation process should make these settings automatically.  If for some reason the entries are modified or corrupted, perform the following steps:
Step 1. Right Click on “My Computer” and select “Properties”
Step 2. Select the “Advanced Tab”
Step 3. Select “Environment …” button.
Step 4. Add the PAYMENTECH_HOME environment variable in the “System Variables” area. Select “New .. “ and add the following:
-          Variable Name: “PAYMENTECH_HOME”
-          Variable Value: c:\opt\paymentech
Step 5. Add PAYMENTECH_HOME to your path in the “System Variables” section. Double click the path entry and add the following at the beginning of the entry:
-          %PAYMENTECH_HOME%;
Step 6. Click on the “Ok” button

2.1) Windows 95 and 98
Environment settings for both Windows 95 and 98 must be added to the autoexec.bat file located in the root directory.  The following entries must exist in your autoexec.bat file:
set PAYMENTECH_HOME=c:\opt\paymentech

Note: Be sure not to have an extra “\” at the end or the SDK won’t be able to find the configuration files.

3.) copy the test version of the linehandler.properties file to the c:\opt\paymentech\etc folder.
  a.) remove the .var from the name 
  b.) this file can be modified for a clients live service.

4.) setup credit card service information with test parameters for var testing.
